Phase 2: Corrective Care

Teaming Up for Optimal Health

Women having spine examined

Once your immediate discomfort has been addressed, we shift our focus to the corrective or restorative phase. During this stage, the goal is to support your body's natural healing processes and restore optimal function. Our integrated care model may include complementary therapies such as physiotherapy and sports therapy to enhance muscle recovery and prevent future injury.

Do not be discouraged if you have mild flare-ups in your symptoms on occasion. This is normal. Flare-ups are bound to occur during this phase because your body has not fully healed. Depending on the severity of your injury or condition and how long you have been suffering from it, this phase of your care may last anywhere from a few months to a couple of years.

When I started seeing the team at Rock in December 2023, I was barely walking, used a stick when I did and was counting down the months until I ended up using a wheelchair because my fibromyalgia had become so severe. After twelve treatments of chiropractic and physiotherapy, I am now able to walk without a stick for the first time in two years. My overall pain has completely reduced and the change in me is so noticeable that I have family members who have signed up for treatment in the hopes of having similar transformations. The team provide a caring, supportive, encouraging environment in which to heal and treat their patients as valued friends. I highly recommend them. Lucy H.
