A Tailored and Collaborative Start to Better Health
At ROCK Spine and Joint Centre in Exeter, we take a structured, patient-centred approach to care. From your very first visit, we work closely with you—and, where needed, with our wider team of physiotherapists, massage therapists, and rehabilitation specialists—to ensure you receive effective, personalised support.
What to Expect
1. Welcome & Forms
You’ll be greeted by our friendly clinical team. We’ll email you a health form prior to your visit—if you haven’t completed it in advance, please arrive a few minutes early to fill it out at the Centre.
2. Initial Consultation
You’ll meet with your clinician to discuss your health concerns—such as pain, stiffness, postural issues, or injury recovery. We’ll explore your goals and how our integrated approach may help.
3. Examination
A detailed examination will follow, which may include neurological, orthopaedic, postural, and functional movement assessments. We’ll ensure you are fully informed before proceeding with any step.
4. On-Site Imaging (If Required)
If necessary, your clinician may recommend on-site digital X-rays to better understand your condition and assist in developing a safe and effective care plan.
Second Visit: Your Findings & Care Plan
During your Findings Appointment, your clinician will review the results of your assessment and any imaging. They will explain:
-
The likely cause of your symptoms
-
Whether treatment is appropriate
-
What your personalised care plan will involve
You may begin treatment during this visit, or in some cases, during your first appointment—depending on your needs and clinical findings.
Every plan is tailored to your goals—whether it’s pain relief, posture correction, rehabilitation, or long-term prevention. When appropriate, your clinician may collaborate with our in-house team in physiotherapy, sports therapy, or massage to support your recovery more fully.
Take the First Step
We’re here to help you move better, feel better, and stay better—with clinical care that’s professional, compassionate, and focused entirely on you.
